Camelot - Chateau de Pierrefonds June 2015 5

We were back! Back "home" at Pierrefonds, Picardie, France, last week, my best friend and me!

And again: The sun was always shining, the heat was remarkable and our castle the most beautiful in the world. It was so calm and peaceful there. It will always be my favourite place. I hadn't been so relaxed in YEARS. It was really a feeling like coming home.  Sometimes it was a little bit weird to stand at the exact same spots where our beloved cast of BBC's Merlin once stood, where we saw them filming back in september 2012. We were a little melancholic sometimes, because this will never happen again... BUT! This castle, this beautiful building, will ALWAYS be there. It is not a set that could be destroyed after filming took place. We can ALWAYS return to "our Camelot" if we want. It will always mean the world to us, because we will always remember those awesome days, where we had the chance to see Bradley James, Colin Morgan, Angel Coulby, Katie McGrath and all the others filming in their costumes there! And that is comforting in a way. Calming. I'm pleased.
